Eclipse vs. Teg

My buddy wants to race me ...he has CAI , suppose were both equal which will win , i have a 94 Teg...Ls...

what kind of eclipse? big difference between turbo-all-wheel drive and non-turbo-front wheel drive.

I have a 94 teg and a eclipse GSX, theres no contest. Eclipse.

If its a gs or rs you will win if your a good enough driver..gs-t or gsx you will get smoked..I think the integra has weight advantage not much and hp is the same it would be a good race..I know when i had my 96 gs eclipse i got smoked buy a bunch of hondas but when other eclipses would pull up i would smoke them by a car or 2..Just race him see what happens let us know.

he has a gs...and hes not all of a good driver...ive been racing for awhile mainly autox not much of the street racing thing but ill get back when it does down later tonite

damn you should take him. my room mate has the 2000 v6 gt and he cannot beat me. but it is a very close race for us. very close.

You should be able to take a first or second gen n/a eclipse. The new ones will mostly take you, though.

i have an integra and my g/f has an eclipse ( which happens to be my favorite car)
integra vs eclipse rs/gs = integra
integra vs eclipse gs-t/gs-x = eclipse
integra vs 00+ V6 eclipse = eclipse

im not sure how much faster the 94-00 integras are but those are using a 90-93 integra. the eclipse will prob smoke any integra in top end and handleing any day tho so have fun :grinno:

now before you go rambling on. my roomate has a 2000 gt and cannot beat me. i kill him off the line which is where his torque is supposed to get me. eclipses are built for the low end. integras are high end . especially the gsr and itr. that is why we have such a higher red line. and i've driven his eclipse. i would take my teg any day over that mitsucrap.

I would hate to say it but i know for a fact that a integra would eat a eclipse i sold my cousin my 96 eclipse and when i owned it the thing had 82k on it and very well kept up and i would get whooped by alot of hondas in it vtec hondas that is and every integra but this thing was stock and cherry so that might be why also you gotta think about weight..
I know i woudl eat eclipses alive in my delsol 1.6 sohc vtec untill around 105 or so then they would catch me..Hell me and my cousin was just out in his eclipse about 3 weeks ago on i-75 and a civic ex 96-99 pulled up next to him and spanked his ass at around 70 mph..i just dont think the Rs and Gs eclipses are all that great.There pretty nice but to me i would never own one again...

If its a GS...i would put my money on you. As long as its not turbocharged, you should be able to take it.
