Alright Im new to this whole car thing, haven't done anything, know a lot about it, and want to do some thing. Here's my question, i have a 2003 Celica GT Automatic. I wanted to know if it is possible to change the automatic Tranny to a manual? I was talking to a friend, and he said that the cars a manufactured similarly so that they could just slap the parts they needed for the specific car on there. So there would probalby be a mounting bracket for the clutch pedal etc. So if it is possible, how would i go about doing it? Thanks.

ur friends a retaard, toyta being as asmart as they are, youd spend over 2k for it......the radiator (yes i said radiator) is moanual/ automatic...the ecu, the tranney (obviously) and the clutch...as well as all the wiering and hoses
not to mention the cutting of the firewall and the major fabrication required to do the job.......itll be cheaoper and faster to just sell the gt auto and buy a mnaula one

what if say you have an 84 GT and you want to swap in the japper engine (3T-GTE) and want a manual swap as well. Do you think that it's wasteful to swap the auto and older engine out with the new engine and tranny?

sure 300hp for $3K? I've checked that site all the time and I've seen their motors go for $6K+. And im not talking about a 3S-GTE im talking about a 3T-GTE, difference is the 3T is a 1.8L and has the dual spark configuration. And if I can get one imported, I'm sure it will only cost me $2K-3K for the motor and tranny. I got connections for Honda/Toyota/Nissan

ok, ever since LCE updated their website I couldn't figure out much, cuz they seem not to give very good descriptions. But you say 300 hp? hmm sounds nice. It really depends on how much I can get my stuff imported or if I can get it imported at all, cuz I'm not sure how old he can go, but here's hoping :iceslolan

you dont have to buy those motors straight up, you can call them and have them build you a motor, or send urs in and have them build it, i.e. what devin did. shipping is a mother fucker tho
