Recaro seats

Ive been offered a pair of Recaro seats for a decent price and was wondering if they would fit in my civic.

Anyone know if these will fit? I dont think they have the mounting frames so im not sure if they will fit safely on the Honda ones.

Anyone know?

PS, I would get them reupholstered as those colours are absolutely disgusting.

Nice seats but I don't think they will just fit on the Honda mounts, you will have to make some custom mounts or something I don't think that's going to be an easy install.

I would have said it more subtle in my reply but yes you are right :)

like bracer said you will probably have to get custom mounts. I can't tell but do they have sliding rails on them already? if so just get a metal shop to make up the brackets for you. There not that complicated. I will have a digital camera tomorrow and I can take pics of the brackets from my sparco seats if you want?

Hopefully the savings I make on the seats should mean I have enough to get some mounts made up as you said. Im getting really tired of being poor. Id go for Sparco myself if I had the cash :D

The seats do apparently have the rails. They will fit straight on any standard Vauxhall mounts apparently. Seats were taken from a Manta GTE hence the colours ;)

I don't really like them, they doesn't seem to differ a lot from my OEM interior (the shape anyway). Maybe the price is good, but a new upholstery will make them expensive in my opinion.

Like VTEC1600 has already said a new upholstery will make them expensive again and they´re looking heavy to me. Maybe you should save up some money and buy some `younger´ Recaro sport seats!?
