Need help with some troubleshooting

So about a month ago I thought I had a boost leak. I figured it was just the crappy 2G BOV so I replaced it with a Greddy Type-S and did the Dejon Tool UICP. Turns out my boost leak was coming from my head gasket. Thanks to the guys over at PF Modify, the head gasket was replaced (at a rather good price).

A few things were different afterward. Instead of peaking at 13 psi(while I had the boost leak), I now peak at 17 psi. This might be part of my problem...

Whenever I get on the gas (WOT), when I hit full boost (17 PSI) the car starts to studder a bit. Not shake or anything but it feels like the car hesitates.

I think it could be any one (or combination of) these four things:

1) Slipping clutch. I've never had a car with a manual transmission before so I wouldn't know definitely what a slipping clutch felt like. I know that increasing my boost 4 psi would add a bit more power and therefore potentially allow me to feel the clutch slipping where I wouldn't have been able to feel it before.

2) Fuel Cut. I also don't know what this feels like but I have the stock fuel pump with no rewiring done. Higher boost level, I know, can lead to fuel cut.

3) Comressor Surge. I just know that this is a potential problem when you have the Greddy Type-S. I'm not sure what this feels like either so I'm just throwing that out there.

4) Another boost leak. I'm much less confident about this option. After dealing with a boost leak, this doesn't seem to be the case. I don't hear the same whistling sound and my boost pressure does not drop off like it did before.

Any insight that anyone can provide would be especially helpful, especially from people who have had the aforementioned problems before. Thanks a lot.

Fuel cut feels fairly violent, the car jerks very hard, you may be right on the edge of it though. Slipping clutch the car just feels slower. Boost leak the car just is slower. Could be plug misfire, bad plugs, wires, wrong gap. I hope you're running premium gas.

make sure you are running the best gas you can run.

also replace the plugs [should be done every 8-10k miles anyway] and get some new stock wires [like 50 bucks from RRE: www.roadraceengineering.com (http://www.roadraceengineering.com) ]

that is most likely your problem.

it also wouldn't hurt to build a leakdown tester either...

Thanks guys. I make sure to put in premium gas. It could be the plugs. I'll try changing them to see if it solves the problem.

probley fuel cut, try finding a fuel cut defender.
