Very Wierd Problem????

Here is the deal. Wife driving along...car just shuts down. Lights work,nothing else. I check and find the 30amp Ingnition fuse link under the hood smoked. I move the P/W 30amp into the ING slot tell her to turn it....car rotates maybe 1/10 of a second and smokes the Ing 30amp again. I tow her the 4 miles home where the cat has sat. I can't find any burnt,smelly components or wires? Everything looks good. Now I'm no great back yard mechanic, but I'm not a total novice either. Any of you guy's or gal's out there ever hear of such a thing, and what the fix could be? Any help would be great.

You Smoked The Crankshaft Position Sensor. Its In The Distributor. Replace The Whole Thing.
