Firm Ride..Why is it In my 95??

I know sc's have that option of putting on or off firm ride, but why does my 95 4.6 LX have that in the center console are, along with the normal Low Washer Fluid. Why would that be there?? It's always off, i'm guessing if the shocks where to lower a bit-if they are defective, it would light up letting you know you have a problem..

I was told here a few months ago,that it turns on at highway speeds to give you a "Firm Ride" by pushing the button at high speeds. Never turned on for me no matter what speed I was going,because I didnt have that button :banghead: ,so I still dont really know why its there. Heres the thread...

But i've come to the conclusion that someone simply got lazy and left it on our cars just so we can take some wild guesses why its there.Or that maybe theres some magic button in the car which activates it. We will never know...

Or maybe it's the same dash as an SC and that is an option not hooked up.

If that was the case,then they should of left the 140mph speedo...
