IS the 2.8 4 spd and 5 spd clutches interchangeable?

Will a 5 speed clutch kit for an 88 formula work on my 85 4 speed gt? I mean everything like the T/O bearing, pressure plate and the disc and whatever else a clutch kit consists of?

Somewhere in those years the transaxles saw some minor redesigning, so I would think probably not.
