I don't normally drive m wife 2000 Caravan. But last night I had to drive it down to the tire shop to have a flat fixed. When i first stepped on the brakes the pedal pulsed up and down and the steering wheel pulsed also. My first thought was CV joint. I then turned left and drove on to the tire shop. When I put the brakes on again the pulsing was not nearly as bad. While it was at the tire shop up on the lift I rocked both front wheels back and forth and heard a loud squeak coming from the passenger side. As I drove home I felt the pulsing again and seems to go away after turning left but comes back after turning right. Whe I got home I rolled the windows down and could hear a pronounced squeak, squeak as the wheel turned. I also thought I heard a thunk as I backed it up.
My first thought was a warped rotor then after it went away after turning I thought it could be the CV joint but now I'm thinking wheel bearing. Am I in the ball park?
