What is the advantage of one over the other? I know e-manage is cheaper but is it worth it or would it be better to go with a stand alone unit such as the UTEC?

What are you running these for??? How much power do you want and so forth... Greddy E-Manage is a good piggyback system but it really doesnt have the large tuning capability of the UTEC... Yes the UTEC is expensive but if you want the perfect tune this is the way to go... The E-Manage is more for small tuning needs for low boost levels... Just my 2 cents

I plan on pushing over 300whp when i finish my car.

You want a UTEC. 300hp is big time power, and there are going to be a lot of mods involved, all of which need to be addressed by the system. The UTEC is just a more reliable system.

Actually 300Hp could be handled by the E-Manage as well but as SabreKhan said it would be more reliable with the UTEC

OK. Yeah. Huge difference, for sure. But I think that you'll still want to get the UTEC or, as Scott mentioned, the Cobb. They just seem to be more reliable and tested systems.
