Here are some progress pictures on my current projeKt, its a Tamiya Skyline GT-R R33 right now its just primered and its waiting to get painted in Tamiya pearl white straight from the can . the only modification that i have done to it is that i put putty on where the front license plate was and of course iam going to be adding a carbon fiber hood and wing. Now iam not sure want wheels to go with either the stockies but in black or bronze with a polished lip, Or with some BBS's in gold with a polished lip. Man iam not sure what to go with do you guys have any suggestions maybe on some others wheels????

Looking very nice so far, I think bronze TE37's would suit it very well, if you have them.

hmm.. maybe either 18" Blitz BRW type 03 if you can find them, http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?AOS24782 or Workmeister S1's
http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?AOS31148

I think either of these would look great- but its your car :)

Work Meister S2 work really well with the R33 also.

Hmm... Bronze TE37's would look exceptional, but so would a nice set of Workmeisters.

Nice color choice! Can't wait to see the finish piece. As for the wheels I would have to say put some 19" Aoshima Vienna Kreis on it with pearl white center. As for the TE37s, IMO, it's too typical now a days. :2cents:

I really want to see how this white pearl comes out... is it the TS white pearl from Tamiya? I ask because I want to compare with the Lancer I'm building... I tried a different paint and boy I'm so happy with it. Too bad it sound a bit sissy but mine is nail polish from Sally Hansen called "White south Sea Pearl" from their Prism color and beleive me... it's pretty impressive !! But a bit harder to shoot and polish to have a decent finish, so I want to see if it worth the effort...

Ho, and for the wheels... gold and white are classy.

And that's supposed to be the Tamiya Pearl ?? Not impressed at all. Where is the chromatic effect ?! Look more like a white with metal flake !

Great built though, wheels look excellent and your body paint seem great too.

That is the Tamiya Kit right? I just finished my buildup on the same car. Do you still have the original rims that came with it? (split 5 spoke) Mine painted Kandy Scarlet with R34 rims and color matched interior. It was an easy buildup i thought (took about 1 1/2 weeks). Anyway if you have the rims please send me a message.

Ok, that color rock ! Just giving it a polishing job give it the edge it need ! Love that car in white, too bad I did mine in "saphyr ruby rage" (it's a great color but tend to shrink the look of the car)... well, I'll bought another one (or maybe I'll ask to Santa) ! PS: don't forget to put her cüte little face in the GT-R meeting when finish.
