Only inside pic I have of mine is in my sig, but theres nothing special about the inside of mine yet still all bone stock.

Mine is not over heating in the pic, nor has it ever overheated. This is an S5, that's right where the needle should be.

I have owned many many RX-7's, infact one from each of the 6 series we had here in the US.
Just for the of it i'll list one of each of the RX-7's I have road driven, not counting the countless cars i have parted, or fixed and sold.
S1 1980 S
S2 1983 GSL
S3 1985 GSL
S4 1988 TII
S5 1989 GTUs
S6 1993 Touring.


The point is, out of all these cars, I have never had my collant needle ready that high. Maybe have a look at your coolant system, sender, thermostat, etc.

I can post a picture of the dash in the RX-3 if you want to see one.

It looks to be in the middle to me, which is exactly where it should be on an S5. S4's are different, and I don't know about the other models. Don't forget, these gauges aren't exactly the best...

Funny that...... My Civic's speedometer goes up to 220 Km/h, yet a JDM 300ZX Twin Turbo's speedo only goes up to 180........ I must be way faster...... :rolleyes:

As for my Civic, I can't think of any pictures that I possess of the Interior- just picture an EG Civic- right hand drive, Alpine tape deck, no airbag, speedo in Km/h and the interior in pristine condition.....

Considering the rear axle ratio that is in the car now, it will never see anything even remotely close to 130 mph.

4th gear (out of 4) at 8K rpm will be at 106 mph.

The factory speedometer limit has nothing to do with the cars actual capability of performance or top end speed.

hehe yeah, my car 's speedo can reach about 180km/h, but I can only get her up to 150!!
