Hello:
I just dropped my car to get the DVD installed with the screens in the seats and a screen in my dash. My question is this, last year i left my latop outside in the cold one night and the LCD screen cracked, is that going to happen with these screens or are they made to withstand cold and heat?
thanx

You would think that the auto tvs are meant to stand extreme temperatures that come during the summer and winter times. But, that is a good question.
Probably would of been better if you asked it last week though ;)

my frined has eclipse TV screen (or whatever the brand is..) in his integra, and he 's been using it for 2-3 years, nothing ever gone wrong with it. and he lives in Los Angeles, so you know how hot it gets in the summer.
it never snows in the valley where we live, so i am not sure about it in the winter tho.
btw, how much did u get for the tv screen? my friend got his for $1000, i wanna get one too, but $1000 is too much for me.

i hooked up a cig lighter plug in to a 32 inch Tv and stuck it in my trunk. Its worked fine for about a year now. Next summer im gettng a tub to put in the backseat.
ok so maybe not...
I really dont konw. You can look up the brand that you are getting on the internet. Find the service number, call em up and then ask your question. Most companies are cool like that. But good luck man, thats a lot of money for something like that...you should have done your homework first. But thas just me.
best of luck...james
