tranny

I dont know if anyone has posted about a problem like this but here I go with this one..

I took my 92 vr4 to a tranny shop last year to get some synchros replaced and $3000 later when i got it back I couldnt get it into 2nd gear

so i take it back and 3 weeks later they call me up and say they had the synchros warrantied out and gave it back to me......just for me to find out i cant get it into 3rd gear

so the last time i took it to them i they have the car for 7 weeks and when i got it back this time i dont have first gear at all unless i am completely stopped


Now my tranny whine like a mother in every gear like it is out of fluid.....anyone got any ideas of what is goin on and i know everyone is sayin to use redline or syncromesh in the tranny but where can i get it

also what would i run in the transfer case

some one plz help me i feel like i am gettin screwed here .....im bout ready to goto court.....

I would go to court to be honest...what company fails to repair a car that many times and ur dishing out that much money for it....why? I'd never settle for bullshit repairs that they've done to your car. I for one would be pissed that they had the car for 7 weeks in the first place just to fix synchros. If they're gonna have it that long...i'd expect the job to be done right and the car to run smooth. I vote court.

o and btw when i say last year i mean they have been working on it this long cuz it is in the shop again right now for the same thing "1st gear and the whining tranny"

Jag is right, if they can't fix it after three tries you have the right to have your money refunded. Obviously they are not competent enough to fix the problem, go to court if you must, get you money back, take it somewhere else...that's ridiculous man. I'd suggest having some sort of witness to the fact that they keep taking your car and its not fixed when they give it back, and you'd be fine.
