I read on some site that honda is seriously considering of using the JAZZ/FIT platform as the platform choice for the next civic. Once I find the site I'll link it to ya guys. I wish honda would go back to the double wishbone suspension. It was pure genius! :)

My guess is cause the mcpherson suspension on the front of the current civic's haven't been received great reviews, but good overall, honda still wants to get something better. I'm not 100% on all of this so.

honda has really lost its mind latey with product changes and how things are built on the newer cars, 05 accord problems, 05 ody problems.. they might as well screw the civic/jazz up even more then they allready have
