Yea well it didnt take long, my factory speakers popped after about 2months of using my aftermarket cd player giving out 23watts rms (i will be running the new speakers off of the head unit also, im not getting an amp anytime soon). Now i need replacements but i am short on cash, Which of these speakers would you suggest.. (remember im short on cash the cheaper the better lol)
6.5" Pioneer TS-A1670R Link (http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1167) (2 pairs for $101 shipped)
6.5" Alpine Type S (SPS-170A (http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1292) ) (2 pairs for $131.90 shipped)
6.5" Infinity Reference (6002i (http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1337) ) (2 pairs for $147.30 shipped).
All of these prices are from IkeSound.com. Have any of you ordered from these guys? Are they reliable, are their products new not returned or refurbished? Would you recommend buying from them?

Hmm...If I had to chose one, I'd pick the Infinity's. I just like them a whole lot better and the sound quality is off the chain. Alpine's are a good choice too, I just don't know about the Pioneer. Hope this helps. *shrugs*

Also, if anyone has any instructions from crutchfield on how to install speakers on a 94 accord lx sedan, that would be great. I was thinking of buying cheap speakers from crutchfield, keep the install instructions and return the speakers lol.

Man, Ikesound ripped me off pretty bad, I tried to return an unopened product, that was a bout a year ago, I still have it to this day. That's just my experience though. You can find complete details at http://www.lightav.com/rules.html
Anyone else ever dealt with them?

What about thezeb.com? Its about the same price but they only carry the pioneers out of the 3 i picked. Is The Zeb any better, anyone have experieneces with them?

The Zeb is pretty good. I bought a sub from there and it was only like $10 shipping and in 3 days it was on my doorstep.

Id go with a component system up front. It would sound better than just 4 speakers in the door. But then again your just running off deck power. I dunno id go with the infinitys from you listed.

I would go coaxials and use 4 speakers if you refuse to use an amp...

If i get the alpine type s's, i have to get them from either ikesound (shitty reviews) or from Ebay (IndoAudio). Anyone heard of Indoaudio?

Alrite guys here it is, the local car stereo shop told me theyll give me two pairs of the Pioneer TS-1670R 3-ways, installed for 120. Good deal or not? 2 pairs of new pioneer speakers installed and everything for 120.

you get waht you pay for in that case. I would go Alpine if you could. If you are going to be cheap though go CDT from www.thezeb.com the coaxials. If you look around and price match you end up with something like 60 for 4 of them, but if you don't look around they are like 100. Install will be about 50

i hate when people say you get what u pay for... lol thats like saying dont get them they're complete sh*t. I dont want to buy them online anymore because itll be a hell of a lot harder to return them or refund them, so having it done at a local shop is better in my opinion. N e ways im going to the shop n having it done, il update you guys when i come back. 1

lol. No they didnt carry any alpine, anyway got the speakers they sound pretty good for the money. They are for sure a hell of a lot cleaner and louder and the mids are there. As for bass not so much, but thats what subs are for as far as im concerned. Overall, pretty happy with my purchase. :-P
