im swapping a b18a1 into my 91 hatch....motor came from a 91 tegi....i grabbed the fule injection wiring harness fromt he tegi as well with the resistor box and the fuse panel on the passenger side shock tower.....i have the pr4 ecu too...now....is this gonna be a "plug and play" operation wiring wise...meaning i can plug in the connection on the drivers side and screw the wires coming from the fuse panel into mine and ill be good to go??? if not wut else do you see that i need?

also has anyone heard good or bad things about HCP motor mounts??? supposedly they give you the most rooom for a turbo application and they have 4 mount point rather than the usual 3....just looking into them for now....also there is another comany call az engineering...anyone use those mounts?

I had HCP 4 mount kit on my crx and i LOVE THEM! I had no problems with them whatsoever. The reason it has more room cause it sits much lower than Hasport or any other mounts. Its also tilted back just a lil to get that extra room in the front. I was happy with them and lots of ppl are to. I hardly hear any bad things about HCP.
About the swap. Its all plug n play bro. Its easy. ;)

you gonna have to dent the frame right under the shock tower to clear the alternator. and you shifter linkage won't bolt up. thats what i can think of for now. good luck

Well he never mentioned not getting an aftermarket shift linkage? And your right u do have to smash the wall on the alternator side so you'll have clearance. Somehow lots of ppl always forget that part lol

Oh the shift linkage will bolt up if you cut an inch off if i remember correctly.

don't have to do this with AZraceMachine mounts. Best mounts IMO and they don't cost that much 280.00 shipped to ur doorstep in a week. No axle bindage and locates the motor in its stock position as if it were a dseries motor. they also sell linkages for 137.50 shipped.
best products i've ever seen or used. The only other company to engineer their mounts identical to the way hasport does. They were actually around before hasport.
about the plug and play thing...that all depends on if your car is a dx or si or std.

if its from a 92 teg u gotta rewire for obd1. As far as i know its just the dizzy wiring and the computer wiring. www.locashracing.com has ecu and dizzy adapters so u dont have to rewire.
