My day at the track...

alright on Sunday I went to the track to get a 1/4mile time on my beast.

I was aiming for 14.9999 sec or less... and cam oh so close... my best time was 15.033 sec, with a .710 reaction time. with a better reaction time i would have acheived my goal.

My first run got me 15.134 but a R/T of 1.1 secs :uhoh:

my best R/T was .527 :iceslolan but this turned out to be a 15.4 sec run... I spun quite a bit on the 60'

Traction was a bitch to get since the track was soo HOT, I was running my street 15" tires and full exaust.

over all it was a good time, I can't wait to have my new motor and LSD to be able to Hook up and hopefully be under 14 secs.

this on stock d16a6 with bacis mods or what? also how much your car way?...i trying figure out how i can loose more weight on my car...

CRX si with B16a1 with s1 tranny, chipped pr3, intake exaust.

15" wheels and tires, full interior, motor is not really tuned properly.

Well keep practicing sOn cause me and fishcat37 hit 14.8's-14.9. The track maybe suck or maybe you got shitty tires? I'm sure you can definitely hit the high 14s without LSD.

Yea you need better hook up or something i did 14.7 with exhaust intake on my hf rex ls motor with decent tires and hook up..tune it and get slicks bet you will get low 14s or high 13s of that..

Not bad at all! Drag racing really takes alot of practice.

I just went yesterday with my ZC (intake, header, exhaust, bored and polished throttle body, full interior + sub) and got a 15.4 I know you can dip into the 14's. Keep practicing and get some drag radials or something.

Kunundrum - Post the whole slip man.. Lets see your 60's and mph.
You should be able to get slightly better times, but as been said and you know now, launching a B16 is very tricky.. Its common to be too high and spin too much, or too low and not spin enough. Practice practice practice.
