I would take the V6 for just more fun in trying to get it faster and faster...but the only bad thing is that its not as powerful as the V8 but I take that little chance.

Wouldn't be fun for me, seems pointless when there's a fast model of the car to make the slow model faster. The factory already did that for you!

but some people are less fortunate

not to mention that most teens cant afford the rediculous insurance on a v8 firebird

But the V6 you can customize it alot more than the V8 because the body and engine is different and you can probably respect your car alot more if you are able to put more work into it. Sure it might be more money for extra parts but you'll feel good after you do it.

Well thats b/c most teens are pot heads and waste their money on stupid stuff...and that's great that you would feel good about yourself for making your 16 second v6 into a 15 second v6 "sleeper"...and if some people are "less fortunate" then how would those people mod their cars? so those "less fortunate" people dont apply here. It would be a waste of time and money to buy a 3.8L V6 Firebird and try and be fast in it, the only reason to buy it is if you like the looks of the firebird, can't pay for the high end model, or want better gas mileage. But to buy the slowest firebird there is and try to make it fast...i'd have to feel like i'd wasted my money if I did that.."I spent 5 grand on my slow car and made it almost as fast as a 350" ehhh just doesnt seem like a good goal. If you want a sleeper buy a 350 and put the v6 body on it.

I pay about $1300 for insurance for my car. If I bought a TA instead of my V6 Firebird, my insurance would be another 1,500 ever six months (gotta love FL insurance rates), and I'm over 21. That's $1500 I'd rather spend "personalizing" my car rather than giving it to some crappy insurance company. Not to mention wasting those rustang GT's off the line because they think all you have is a stock 200 h.p. V6 is a great feeling.

"Rustang" Gt's = slow, V6 Firebird = slow :loser: Would any of you buy the V6 OVER the 350? excluding insurance factors.
