I received a 1986 Toyota MR2 from a co-worker for $0.00
One catch, it had a thrown rod.
Through American Engine Exchange, I picked up a used 4-AGE for $300
As of now, the old engine is out, and i'm sittin on this thinking what to do next. I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting a better engine.
I have nothing but time on my hands. And will mostlikely go ahead and use the full gasket set like I should. However, I am curious.
My buddy said that he downloaded, somehow, a "shop manual" for his Integra. He said it is over 2500 pages or something; and illustrates exactly how to do everything for his specific model.
Does this exist for the MR2?
I'd really like to do this perfectly. I have a Hanes manual and with a little common sense I'm sure I will do just fine but knowlege is power.
And tips or tricks would be appreciated.
If you'd like to yack with me on aim my handle is "EEZERLiVES" I'd love to talk MR2 with ya.
