Engine Light coming on/Mass Air Flow sensor

Hey I have a 99 GTP, works great, no problems really yet. Currently the engine light comes on and off every so often. When I bought it a few months ago they had just replaced the mass air flow sensor which was supposed to make the engine light stay off, has anyone heard of this? It keeps coming back on but the car is running perfectly as far as I know. The sensor wouldn't have failed after a few months would it?

I have Goodyear F1's on this puppy, low profile approx $1200 (CAN), man do they ever hold the road! Any help would be appreciated.

have someone pull the codes, and see what the computer tells you. There are many sensors that can cause your light to come on and off.

I did after I bought it and then said it had come on because of the mass air flow sensor but they said it's fine so I'm going to go again soon but to the actual Ponitac Dealer here.
