cherokee 1990 fuel pumpm relay

Help please,
can any one tell me where is the fuel pump relay located on the 1990 cherokee?. I went to the dealer, bought the relay, but they could not tell me where it's located. I am not getting any fuel out of the fuel line, and I want to replace the relay before the pump.

Have you tried auto zone??? they may be able to tell you where it is. i have never had to change mine so i couldn't answer that myself... you may also ask a local mechanic if you have one that you have dealt with before. some of them can be stubborn because they want the work themselves but many would probably help you out. if you can't get any answers, i may be able to help you find out, also, when you do find it, you should be able to test it by 'bridging' the positive wires (bypassing the relay) to see if the pump is bad. that may save you the money and trouble of the relay if you are able to return it (assuming that it is the pump)

HI, THERE ARE 5 RELAYS MOUNTED NEXT TO BATTERY IN A ROW THEY'RE # 1--STARTER MOTOR RELAY # 2-- OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER RELAY # 3--FUEL PUMP RELAY # 4--B+ LATCH # 5--A/C CLUTCH RELAY HOPE THIS HELPS QUESTIONS HOLLER DALE
