How Should i Mod My car?

I have a 98 Gt Sl and i have about 500 (not much, but hey im 16) heh, to spend on my car. I wanna ask you guys that have already done stuff to your Gt's what looks, sounds, and does the best on the road. Feel free to list a few things (in my price range) or a lil bit more, that would make my car better. Thanks for your input.

Theres no a lot u can do to an SL.. but a good start would be a CAI ... exhuast would be more than 500.. mine was around 300 but i just cut off the muffler and ran back duals and is sounds great..underdrive pulleys would add a little hp, but not a lot... a down pipe would get u around 15 hp i believe.. dang i cant think right now! ..thats some performance mods... check out these sites..

you can get an exhaust easily all you have to do is get the canister and then take it to a custom pipe bending shop mine cost like 300 and looks and sounds great of course i worked at a shop at the time so it didn't cost retail but you also don't need ot get an apex n1 canister
