why the hell would any average person need anything like that? unless they have to haul their mobile home every weekend. silverado 3500's and ford f350's have plenty of power and towing capability to haul just about anything, thats why there are so many at construction sites. that thing is basically a dump truck with a pickup bed. it just isnt practical. oh and did anyone see the loading height on that bed? you need a ladder just to get into it, let alone put anything heavy into it.

I can see the usefulness for someone that has a business where they haul a lot across country but not enough to necessitate buying an 18-wheeler. However, 99.9% of the population has no use for this monstrosity.

when you have alot to haul across country an H2, or a suburban, or a pick-up can do the job...if you need something bigger than that, and you have to make alot of trips...outsource your shipping!

They are designed for folks that haul fifth-wheel trailers. Wish I could afford one. Fiberglass body, I'd wager they are pretty good on fuel, and have lots of braking power.

The sad thing is that you don't even need a CDL to drive one. Any 16 year old (if they have enough money) could just drive one of those. At least if it required a CDL people would actually have to learn to drive.

I used to work at a shop that built trailers, one of those would have been great, hauling two tuns of steel in the bed or double or tripple that on a trailer. Its not for everyone, its not intended for everyone thats why you dont see it on car lots. Get over yourself and shut the fuck up.
