Well I just finished rebuilding my engine, a y8 block (all new bearings), a6 rods and pistons, and a z6 head with the y8 head gasket,

for those who don't know already, I had a crower cam stuffed in the head and skunk 2 gear, I/H/E, MSD, 7 lb flywheel and ACT extreme Pressure plate.

Any way i started the initial break in and every thing is going smooth, shes running great, and fired as soon as I turned the key

On another note, one major thing i noticed coming from the A6 block and headgasket on the mini me to this setup is vtec is much more noticable when it clicks on. Also the Correct timing belt to use is the A6 for this setup, on the a6 block deal it was a little too short, but with the thinner head gasket its just right.

I think I'll stick with the way i'm doing it, I've seen that page and yeah thats one way, but I'm going with the Drive it like a normal person, rev it up but not beat the shit out of it, always changing the rpm, seems to be working fine so far.

Nice :) Isn't your flywheel a lil too light?

No, not at all. I love the 7 Lb wheel, its awsome, especially because I love to rev match and it makes that so much easier, and then there is the freed up Horse power due to less rotational mass and easier starts... I mean I liked my 12 Lb one too, but I love this one.
