Intake noises???

Allright, I've installed a JWT Pop Charger on my P11. But, I've never had an intake before, and have no experience with them personally. So, what types of noises should I get used to? Now that it's in, I notice that I can actually hear air being sucked into the engine. Am I dreaming, or should I be hearing that? Anyway, I just wanted to make sure everything was ok...

ya you should be able to hear the air sucking in and a growl when you start to give your car throttle. at WOT it sounds real nice.

Oh yeah, that's the sound. Around 6500rpm you'll get this sweet little whistling sound. Ohhhhhhh, makes me feel all mushy inside. ;)

hehe, mine sounds kinda like gas running through a propane pipe or something. :D

hehe... damn I want to get an intake already... When you get the stillen one does that get in the way of the little plugs that go into the intake??? What do those do?

Should kinda sound like running water at start up and then die down. When you're at WOT it's loud. When you turn off the car, most will sound like a flushing toilet.
