Hot Rod Vic!

Looking to beef up the '99 P-71 I just bought. While my other car is a '71 Corvette, 454/4 spd. w/no emissions or computers, very easy to make go fast. The new CV is a different animal. Where is the first place to start tweaking to make this new bird sing? She's got one hundred thousand on her but well taken care of, in her past life she was an undercover/supervisor's vehicle. Very clean, posh interior, all the options. Thanks for any input!

If you want this baby to perform like your Corvette, you're gonna need to do alot of work to her! However, to tune the car on a budget, i have a few suggestions for you.

1. Performance chip/tune the ECU

2. New intake and exhaust

3. Headers

4. Port polish

5. Intercooler

6. Turbocharger

7. Performance tires

Even this isn't exactly cheap, but you'll have a real nice sleeper car when you're done.
