Hi Guys and Gals!
This is my worst nighmare for quite some time, made a lot of stupid mistakes on this one. First of all I managed to hit the all time low in paint jobs and after stripping the TS-8 and mounted it for another session with the paint bad luck struck. It tipped over and dived to the floor, cracked the roof in two places and the right hand A-pillar also in two places. Did put it back in the box and tried to forget about it. A year later I pulled it back out in the light and thought it would look nice in Pearl green TS-60. Happy as a man can bee, all was fine until yesterday when I managed to crack the right hand side lower part for the body in two. Didn't even use force it just snapped by a light touch!? Fixed it and now it has new paint on and this is what it looks like at this date.

On the bright side maybe this model will use up all your bad luck and then everything else you build will have only good luck. :) The Americans always did say that green is bad luck on a racing car
The peal colour certianly looks nice, almost a chameleon effect in the pictures. Quite unusual for a Ferrari I'd imagine.

The color looks cool.
What did you use to strip the paint. It sounds like it made the plastic brittle..

I used alcohol to strip the paint and it didn't affect the plastic at all as far as I could see. Maybe I'll drink it the next time, couldn't go more worse than it already has and maybe I'll get a new dimension in the building process :naughty: Sometime before when I used brakefluid I got a little more brittle plastic so I understand why you asked. Don't know why this piece snapped? Maybe it got hurt during transport in and out of my closet as it was just laying loose in the box!? It's fixed so I'll just move on and hopefully I'll finish this one in a month or so. Have to wait a couple of days before I put on the clear coats and then a week or two before polishing and waxing.
