Hi
Well this is the whole condition, i installed the driver side window in my 97 Galant after it broke because someone was trying to steal it. Well now i installed the window but it is getting stuck two times while going out or up. I can push the window down with my hand while pressing the button down and it goes down and vise versa while going up. I also greased up the metal track on which the thing that holds the window with two screws goes up and down inside the door but samething is happening. Well when the window gets stuck the motor makes a grinding noise. Any suggestions what is the problem.

i have a similar problem, except all four of my windows go up and down very slowly, almost like theyre not getting enough power, my car is a 2002 with about 38000 miles so its just out of warranty and now the windows start acting weird

Scooby2204 thanks for the advice, i checked it but it doesn't hit nothing, i also adjusted the two screws on the top holding the metal track with the door but that also don't make any difference, any other suggestions??? :(

try putting the window all the way to the top, then release the switch, pull switch up again for 3-5 seconds until you hear a relay click. hopefully that does it!
