Anyone ever hear of this institute, where you becoming ASE certified in no time? Friend is thinking about going in, but I'm thinking that it might not even be legit.

your a comedian arent you?
tuittion is about 28k depending on where you live.
each class is about 3 weeks long and the whole thing takes about 12 months for just straight auto...but the 28k is auto with ford f.a.c.t. (for accelerated crudential training) most people opt to take ford fact cuz it is job security.

Universal Technical Institute. It is a private automotive school. The program length varies depending on what you take, but as you have heard, it's not cheap. It can be around 15K for the basic training, or upwards of 28K if you opt for more.
here's the website for more info

Also check out Wyotech. The main auto locations may suck (Larmie, WY or Blairsville, Penn, Sacermento doesn't offer nearly as much as the other 2), but it's also a very good school, and it has a hot rod progam if you're into that kind of thing. Like UTI, it is also quite expensive.
