Converting my obd2 to obd1?

:banghead:
I have a Honda Accord 2000 with all sorts of bolt-ons and so forth. A friend mentioned to me that I should change or tune my ECU. I understand that I have an obd2 ecu in my car. My question is- can I convert this obd2 to an obd1 ecu? If so what obd1 can I get? Are they all the same in plug-ins or does the year count and engine letter(b,h,f,k)?

Can I buy any old obd1 and with an obd2 harness connect it to my car?
What should I do?

Thanks everyone!!

Why would you want to convert your car into OBD1?? Not to mention.. if you have a OBD1 ECU you have to have a OBD1 engine! They make conversion harnesses for instances like having a 96-97 Accord (OBD2) and putting in a 93-95 Prelude or Accord engine (OBD1). So instead of rewiring your whole electrical system the harness converts from one to the other. Your engine must match the ECU. Yes you can "tune" your current ECU, check out more of that at Hondata.com.
