Help! I have an automatic 95 Runner SR5 4WD, and for two days, I have not been able to turn my key whatsoever! No clicking or anything. Outside lights are working, but no other accesories are. Car is in park. Tried to jump it. ??? Any suggestions/ideas/help would be great!!

Let me add that I also used my three different keys that I have. And also I had two friends push the car back and forth while i was turning the wheel and jiggling with the key, but to no avail! We did this for quite some time

Probably is the steering wheel locked in a bad position, putting stress on the lock. Might be you need to force the steering wheel more strongly in one direction or the other to get it to turn.

The dash and sterring wheel has been torn out. Trying to get locking pen out. Bought a new ingnition cylinder - that is supposed to be the problem. The key however has to be in accessory mode. So you have to unlock the column. Having serious problems doing this. Any help or a link that can help would be great! HELP!

I just wanted to post an update on my problem. It turned out the key itself just needed replacing. The problem was fixed quickly by simply having a locksmith make a new key for me for $75 or so.
Thanks for the help though. The same key I had used every day just needed to be re-fit to my ignition switch.
