I have a 98 Mustang, and I was thinking about adding some bass to it. I tried a generic box with a 12", but the stupid thing was a PAIN to get in and out (it covered the spare tire which we needed on more then one occasion). It was too tall for the trunk in any case.
Also I replaced the stock rear speakers with JBL 6"x 9" (which might I add, don't really fit, they hang down about an inch, they're just bolted up).
I was looking for plans that either have the box in the trunk near/against the fold down back seats, or two that are on either side of the trunk (so I still have access to the spare, and a little storage room).
Any ideas? I'd like to port them to the front, good/bad idea? Sony Explode 10s or 12s??? (I'm not really going to competition sound, just enough for little me)

Look around online there are a lot of people who have sites that give step by step instructions for how to build what u want. Your prob gonna have to build the box to get what u want. I'm not aware of any companies who make what u have described. Also there are a lot better subs than Sony Explodes for similiar money

Thanks.
I did a little more research and found www.blaupunktusa.com (http://www.blaupunktusa.com) which gave me specifics as to size, volumes, materials, etc.
Also JBL's website www.jbl.com (http://www.jbl.com) gave me a good idea of what size/volume box to make for their JBL subs.
You were saying Sony's weren't the best in that particular price range....JBL's seem to be about the same price, any other favs???
