I just got a VAFC, and I was just wondering if anyone knows how accurate the tach on these things is. Does it feed off the distributor wiring, or what? Just wondering if one of you knows....

I have a VAFC, it's accurate as hell. Make sure you have the the car type set to "4cyl" and sensor check "IN 6" "OUT 6"

99% accurate. It feeds off your ECU tach signal.

they are very accurate. the reason stock tachs are innacurate is becuase they're analog. If the needle gets put on slightly off it will throw everything off, etc.

your stock tach and a VAFC both get their signal from the same place.. negative coil wire, only the VAFC has a digital readout in which the numbers themselves cant change place (like if your needle wasnt on properly etc.)
