Fuel Pump?

i just changed the fuel filter,but my car still has problems starting unless i step on the gas while starting it.it also seems slugish at the beginning after it has turned over.do you think that's the fuel pump?also,that car will always start up after it's been shut off recently.

well sounds more like a vaccuum leak, or your intake popped off, could be your plugs and wires, well check it all out in that order if nothing comes up come post it and we'll trouble shoot some more
