I'm thinking either get urself a set of elipses or keep hand drawing the wheels until they are correct.
I do almost everything freehand and it turns out ok(but i'd love to have some elipses)

It looks good, it seems you are getting the hang of using grids. I have noticed that for some people it is hard to get the hang of the grid tech. Your shading looks good. I know you said that you are not done yet but be sure to get some tone variations so the car will not look flat (diff. shades of graphite). You might want to find another pict. of the s-15 out side to add some reflections. You could just simplify the reflections and use the car show picture.

Take care

Not bad. You chose a hard ref pic though. I would suggest a proffesionally shot car with not too many reflections and no decals. However you are doing very well so far and you just need to sort out the wheels a bit and add some more tone variation and it'll look great.

btw, I drew your sig car ages ago: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=14561&size=big&password=&sort=1&cat=503

not bad at all, just as the others said use an easier ref. pic, your results will be better, in the future you can try with more difficult ref. pics.
