I'm pretty sure they didn't make automatic VR4's? I've seen some people mention automatic vr4's in their signature, etc. Did they do a tranny swap or something?

They never made auto vr4s, however some have converted their auto SLs to twin turbo...I haven't heard of anyone switching a vr4 to auto though.

the auto TT's actually have a lot of potential as long as nothing breaks, don't judge a book by its cover you have to drive it to know

I know it's just that ever since I got my 3000GT and learned manual I can't imagine driving anything but a manual.

you can modify an ATX to shift faster and smoother than any person can shift a MTX. the benefits are obvious, that's why someone might want to do it...for dragging purposes only. other than that, why drive an ATX?

because florida traffic is a bitch to have a stick in (my reason anyway)
TT ATX cars really do have awesome potential
shift kit and highstall converter with a tranny cooler is a must if your looking to get more out of the tranny. I predict a tt atx is a torque monster

I don't mind it too much, as long as it's not stop and go every three seconds.

y is everyone such a baby about driving in traffic, if its so bad, put it in first, and use ur stupid feet its not so hard, people over here are so lazy and give driving manual such a bad name, when its really nothing to make a big deal about, and so many people are losing such a great thing, cuz there so lazy... :2cents:

ya, i totally agree with MitsuGT, just ante up and clutch in. Its really not a big deal, you can always just leave it in first and instead of clutch into neutral, just let off the gas and allow the engine to break, i love it, but i'm sure the drivers behind you hate it when you slow down, and it appears that your brake lights aren't working. give it up to the MTXers

you can have an automatic VR-4, just follow these simple steps:
#1, buy a VR-4
#2, import an AWD ATX transmission from the GTO SR from Japan
#3, put it on your VR-4

#4, rebuild the trans every time you launch
Could be just rumors, but Ive heard the AWD ATX's are horable once you start adding power.
