Yesterday I used Turtle wax on my car. Today I tried to remove the wax with towel. And it is pretty tough to do. Any idea how to remove it?

one car washing tip is to never use dish soap because it strips your wax. dunno if this is a good idea or not. but its one way. y do u wanna strip ur wax?

when you apply wax, after you apply it to an area you buff it off a bit using another towel/rag. im guessing you just applied it right?

I found out the hard way that Windex really easily removes wax. All of it.

But will that fail the purpose of waxing? Curious what hard way u were saying :)

Yeah, that is what i did :( I also heard you can apply and remove the wax after 10 min section by section.

I meant I wasn't trying to remove the wax, just some bug juice. Bug juice, wax, everything came off. I was hoping to not trash the wax. Rewaxed the door and everything is fine.

Section by section is the best way. Then you do it right. If you have to buff the entire car at the end, you're so tired from waxing, you are only looking forward to finishing and don't do as good of a job buffing and fixing mixed spots.
