Finished,

Overall a great kit, much easier to put together then the Enzo and a better fitting kit as well.

Simply stunning in silver
Is that mesh you've used for the engine cover, or the kit clear plastic + decal? Either way it looks very effective.

Looks gorgeous, but with the inside of the wheel so visible, you think that it would be an impetus for Tamiya to make the wheel backs look better. Otherwise, just a fabulous build, the harnesses look especially incredible.

The brakes and the tail lights are awesome. :D I still cannot decide which colour combo for my Carrera GT. :banghead:

Very Nice work.... I will try to put carbon fiber label for my 3rd carrera GT... I am thinking to build a white color carrera GT what do you think? (since I have a Silve, and building a yellow) White is very cool I think! Like someone making the white Enzo.....

You put a detail-kit on it right? I didn't really follow the progress thread, but what brand was it, and was it worth it's money? The car looks great. Very clean and very nicely detailed. Great work!

Welcome to the Carrera GT club! :)
Nice paint, and details. Looks just like all the promo pictures for this car.

Did you leave the rear wheel wells out for a reason?

CADguy - yeah, I left the wheel well out becuase they didn't fit extremely well and I needed to get more carbon fiber decals to cover them all... I might add them later, but its unlikely, I think I like it the way it is.

Bas Carwash - I a flatered that you didn't follow the progress thread :) but I did not use any aftermarket detail kit, so the mesh in the engine compartment are decals over glass and all the details are either kit based or off of another project.

When I started building mine the aftermarket Acu Stion kits did not come out, nor do I think they are going to be particulary usefull for this kit.... the mesh would have been nice, oh well.

I appologize for not following it :sorry: :crying: I could remember your thread name said: Carrera GT Detailed. That's why I asked :D I was waiting with replying as I've seen a couple of Carrera GT's finished last three weeks already :D I'm not saying 'Great looking model' and 'very nice looking progress' to the same model made by someone else again and again :) It needs to be special for that :D Next time I'll make sure I follow your threads as your car looks great
