ive looked at the kit stattama makes for the regular 3.8 and now i find myself with a hard decision. should i go buy a 1997 present grand prix gt which are easy and to find with low miles for a resonable price or stick with my first plan and put a supercharged 3.8 in my 1995 grand prix. tough decision. i was wondering if any one was using this kit i know the site says it can put down an easy 410 hp with little to now mods to the engine. any one using this site let me know what you think about it.

doesnt look to be an incredibly well designed kit. and id be willing to bet that "easy 410" whp requires using way more boost than your car will really be able to take for more than a day. There are a lot of kits comming out for 3800s now and a lot of them, this one included, seem to be too focused on power and not focused enough on good design and practicality. in other words, they will make you go fast for a year, and then your car will break down because the kit doesnt run SAFELY on the car. I would recomend the Cartuning Performance 3800 turbo kit. It is very well designed. For 3000 dollars it will put down 296 whp, but with the intercooler (coming out soon, ~6/700 bucks) you can run additional boost and timing safely and be able to put out around 400 whp, but you may need to go for the 300 dollar turbo upgrade to get that much power.

got my choice when in march when i get back im definatly going to be looking for a grand prix gt and ill be selling my 1995 gtp and using the money for the cartune turbo kit :evillol: poor ricers that live around here wont know what hit em! anti rice forever. ill avoid doing all the work of an engine swap and go for this set up. late model gt's are every where for pretty cheap like i said before might even have to think about a 4 door. which wouldnt be bad because i already got alot of money in car audio equipment and monitors a 4 door might actually be better thanks for the advice. cant wait to see what will be developed by march when im ready to buy.
