hood wont pop; help

Getting rid of the codes on my ZC and now the hood wont pop. Somehow the cable got disconnected at the latch and the release lever. I've tried opening the hood by hand by getting my arms up through the front bumper and messing around with it, but I cant figure it out.

I need to pop the hood bad. Any help?

The only way to find out would be to maybe find the cable that runs to the pop itself and hopefully there is a little cable left to where you can get locking pliers on the end and pull it so it opens. Once it opens, find where the cable runs and replace it.

Alright i got the hood poped, by using a screwdriver to release the latch from under the car. The problem is, that is the only way I can pop the hood.

The lever to pop the car inside the car broke on me, but I should be able to hold the cable housing with vicegrips and pull the cable to unlatch the hood shouldn't I?

When I did my swap I had my hood off, and just bolted it back on. It looks alright, but I was wondering if the hood/latch alignment is causing the latch to jam up and not open. Any help/suggestions?

..If anyone has an extra hood release lever (inside the car, below the change holder thing) let me know.. the plastic piece that hold the end of the cable broke off.
