odometer and radio light

I just bought a '98 T/A. The odometer and the radio dial/clock worked fine on the test drive, but now they are both out. Any suggestions on where to start? Fuses in the cab are all OK. All other functions of the speedometer/dash and radio work. I did go through and reset the codes for theft/security to factory settings.
