i. If I'm driving at 5,500rpm in fourth gear (2000 Prelude i-4 2.2L, H22 I think), what speed am I at?
ii. What is lighter, a 2000 Prelude or a 1990 Accord 4 door?\

yep I'm right accord around 2,700 Prelude around 2,900 pounds

ur freaking kidding me...go get on the highway and find out. if i remember correctly, 90mph is 5th gear at 4.5k rpm

It's my friend's car. The speedo doesn't work, that's why I'm asking (politely).

crap...i forgot what rpm you had asked about. i thought it was 4.5k, not 5.5k. well...in case he cares, 4.5k in 4th gear = 70mph so 5.5 is probably 80-85mph.
it had been a while since i had driven down the streets in 4th gear for a long while. had forgotten how sweet it pulls in that range.
