well i went to street leagels last friday. w/ my freshly installed b16 tranny w/ls 5th gear.
before w/my gsr tranny my best was 13.26@102 1.88 60' i would finish at 7300 rpm's in 4th
but my best last friday was 12.81@106 1.92 60' i finished at 8000rpm's in 4th.
i won 4 elimination races and on the 5th race i cracked a piston right as i crossed the finish line. the sad part is i won but could not continue for the very last race, wich if id won id be $50 richer.
but it couldnt of happened at a better time. cause that was the 2nd to last event of the season, and i wsa planning to sleeve my block during winter anyway.
so next year ill be back with golden eagle sleeved block 83mm bore, endyn rollerwave pistons 9.0:1cr, crower billet rods, ect..

Sounds like you have a sick car. 1.8-1.9 sec. 60' is sick for a fwd car. I take it that you are on slicks?

nice times man.
tough break on the piston, but you've got the entire winter for next year.

those 60 foot times are believible. anyways there is a guy that my friend with a turbo LS knows. he has a 92 hatch back with a GSR engine, with cams, intake, open headers ( for track only ) modded torque arms to help launch better, v-tec controller, modded ecu, 9K redline and 12:1 compression ratio. and he ran a best of 12.9 ( he used slicks ) and his average was mid 13 second passes ( on street tires ). however his car is toast. he blew a piston also. i guess thats what happens when try to go n/a. its just soo much strain on the engine if you go that route.
