most likely the multi function switch has gone bad. your problem is one of the many that could arrise from it. my high beam flashers don't work, but the high beams do and occasionally my washer fluid won't spray.

Is there a fuse for the flasher, beside the flasher itself? The actual flasher is a yellow or silver cylindrical thing that looks like half of a C or D battery. Should be right there under the dash with the rest of your fuses. This may be your problem. I believe it's only a couple bucks at the most for a new one.

Your local library will have a set. Autozone, Checkers, Pep Boys, etc. will have one you can buy. Odds are if all else on the thing works, including hazards, it's the flasher. Replace it first before you go for a MFS.
