OK....Im a senior in high school...somewhat of a classic car buff...so a guy in our school ows a 1969 Fastback....so it looks ok from about 50-60 feet...lol....after that it looks like crap....DON"T GET ME WRONG...I am NOT Dissing MUSTANGS......Just this in my opion is a pile of you know what....and my friend that works in a grocery store with this guy owns a 97 TA with the LS1...ok..so pretty dang fast in my opinion...they have raced before...the Mustang got his a** handed to him...so his dad and he (mustang owners) thinks the car is worth like 15000 if they get a new paint job on it.....here is the description

1969 Mustang Fastback, 351 Cleveland...Worn out....4spd Tranny....Rusty....Poor Paint...peeling off...pitiful interior....spray painted interior, black doors, white leather seats, it Runs...but like shit....hood is misaligned with the rest of the body...He dosen't change the oil....that is all that i can think of right now.... oh and he basically tears the shit out of it
oh and he bought if for around 3,000

I am not trying to get Flamed or anything for posting this...but personally i think the car is a pile....but yes i do like the old mustangs...especially the fastbacks, shelby's, and the BOSS

I too, am a senior in high school and I see people like this all the time. They don't take care of their car and think it's the greatest thing on earth. I drove my dad's 90 gt to school one day and this guy in an 87 gt (looked like this 69 with the rust and stuff) wanted to race me. He said he had the thing up to 160 in 3rd gear, the car could do this b/c it had a police package (no evidence of this), and he had "racing gears" in it to top it off.
My advice, just laugh at him to his face, because you and him both know that he's lying and full of it.

I will say this just because a car may look rough looks can be deceiving . My paint isnt bad but i do plan on having it painted but not one second before the engine is just how i want it .so at one point it will run balls out but still look slightly rough. but as far as the fastback goes , restored it could be worth that much maybe more

NOOO WAY its worth friggin 15 grand! giv him around 5-6G and if he says no, then fk him you can get better deal elsewhere. its in such BAD condition already, it should be sold SOLEY as a project/restore car!

im not sure i would give him that much for the car as is . if its in the condition you say 1000 or less . but thats me i could never do a resto. i'd want to change something .to a collector who wants to make it oringinal it would be worth more

Well the fastback is the most desireable classic mustang. You pay 3 times what you would pay for a ragged coupe to get a fastback. But 5 digits is still way too high.

You guys would have to see this to know what I am talking about....you see it from aways away....dang thats a pretty nice car...get up close...start looking....oh....maybe not....ok...that is just a pile basically....but oh well....glad its not my car....the car is basically crap.....but i know what a good muscle chevelle is supposed to look/feel/drive/sound like (my dad owns an all original 69 SS396/325hp, worth in the neighborhood of 18k.....it aint anything near that nice......his is a whole different ball game)...but yea
