ground wire(i think)broke

Help please


I wire broke on my 86 escort exp, I think its the ground wire It gos from the block to the bodie and the car won't start unless its taped Lol and it cuts out, and the lights flicker. I dont know what to do, is this a easy repair? the wire goes inside the engine, so do I have to take it to a mechanic, cause im uneducated at automobiles? Please tell me whats up I don't even want to drive it like this. Please help me any inputs will be greatly appreciated.

it doesn't go to the engine block. I looked at it again and it goes to a bolt that appears to bolt the tranny to the motor but im not sure if anyone needs any pics go ahead and ask and i will take a post some as soon as possible

nvm i figured it out. It was easy as fuck. Got the wire from my local wrecking yard, took like 5 mins to put on. It was so fucking easy!!!!!
