Teg console

hey guys im in search of a teg center console for my cx. now, its an auto, will the shifter/ assembly fit through the teg console hole. like is it the same size as the stock one? anyone have any exp. with this?

i know its easy with a standard because all u have is a boot. i guess if the plastic piece that shows u if ur in drive or park etc. doesnt fit through i might just put a shift boot on my shifter. thanks


and btw i didnt get those SIR rims, the guy wants 1000$ can. for the rims and 2 sets of tires. oh well....

When you go to the junkyard to get the console,take a look at a 96-00 civic console ,I like the cupholders more so than the integra unit.

It all boils down to how comfortable you feel rigging stuff together.Anything is possible if you use your imagination and take your time.

A 96-00 console will fit also if you trim the front to match the bottom of the dash.

the auto shifters are more rectangular in shape while the integra console is more rounder around the corners. you might be able to fit it inside if you remove the plastic trim around the shifter. and to make it look cleaner, just throw a boot on top of it.

Well with topics recently started called such as "Auto tranny (shifting)", "Haynes or helms?" , "Headlights/ headlight bulbs", "99 SI Alloys", and "Battery light, help" I think its quite safe to assume that either A: your a newbie, B: you can't read / operate a search, C: you know what your doing....but you dont, or D: all of the above.

Or instead of a boot,he could get some 1/8" black abs from a audio store and make a trim ring/plate to fit the shifter to the opening in the console so that it looks like its supposed to be there from the factory.I got a piece of it to mount something once,a 12"x12" sheet was like $8.
