AutoCross

I was wondering if there were any autocrossers, either SCCA or AROC(AROK?), on the forum. If so, i was wondering if anyone had some advice as to mods i should do for this kind of event. I have a MKIV Jetta 2L. I know that if i want to get the car goin fast, i really should get a new motor, but im working within a school budget, so im looking for small stuff to give me a little more of an edge so i can atleast kinda compete with the folks with alot of money to sink into there cars.
