headers???wiring???

ok i just got my headers and im a noobie so be easy on me. ok the hole on the bottom part of the 4-2-1 headers, ok on the stock headers the wire is connected to the upper part of the headers. do i just extend that wire so it can go in that hole or is the hole differently for something else..... thanks for all the help all will be good.
