is it safe on B18B with 110k?

my engine has about 1109k miles on it and I found a place where i can get a zex dry kit for 440 bucks brand new http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=601826751&r=0&t=0 and the remote opener for 180 and the purge kit for 90 and the guage/manifold for 40. I will use the 55 jets, do you think my engine will handle this? I will most likely comepletel;y rebuild in about a year, but foir now it is stock internals and has I/H/E.


also, how ,much does it cost on average to fill the 10lb bottle and how long does it last for? like would i be able to spray for like 10 seconds 10 times from one bottle or no?

The motor should handle it for a while for the most part. If you keep using it alot...then you will find yourself rebuilding the motor.

also, in about 8.5 months i get a 6k signing bonus(you dong get the bonus til your first paycheck safter youve started the job, not the first check) and then I will probably rebuild it and get forged internals and setup for a ton of boost.



is there any signs of what i should check to se if my car will handle it, I remember somewhere reading you should get at least 4.1 volts on some wire at the thropttle body, an7yone know aboutr that? and what kibnd of compressioin should i have. any other tests i could dop to check?

i was running a ZEX dry kit on my GSR, and i had over 120K miles on it. i was running a 75 shot with an almost motor. meaning all i had was an AEM CAI and DC headers. and of course, retarded timing back 4 degrees. i've been spraying hard for about almost 9 months now. nothing seems wrong with the car. did compression, vacuum and cylinder test, all still in good shape. all cylinders are still putting equal amount of power out. also, depending on how the car is driving to start off with, you your situation will not be like mines, my car was a granny car, stock clutch went after about 120 K also.

cool, tahnks i was pnly worried about my xra being slower than others but it will whuip almost everyone already but ym friends SHO, so ui imght look for a few opther safer mods just to get a few more horses to surely win. still considering it tho, runs really good still, smooth all through the band, idles fine, sounds good, just seems perfect so ill test the comprssion and i dont know how to do the others but have friends working at shops.
